Pleasantville is most famous for being the corporate headquarters of Smokey Row Coffee and the hometown of softball player Chelsea Thomas whose honors include, three time All American at The University of Missouri (2011, 2012, 2013), three time conference pitcher of the year (twice in the Big 12, once in the SEC), and United States National Team member.
